The client, a developer, bought this seven-bedroom townhouse with a view to creating three separate dwellings. My design for a loft conversion and rear ground-floor extension maximised the available space and re-sale value of the new flats. These comprised one- and two-bedroom dwellings on the upper floors, with a three-bed family home on the ground floor, including an open- plan kitchen and day room with bi-folding doors onto the landscaped garden.
