Kensington Court Hotel
London
Aware of my past work designing luxury hotels around the world, this client commissioned me to transform the interior of a former budget hotel. The brief was to create a boutique hotel with 22 guest rooms in this Regency terrace close to Hyde Park in west London. Working closely with the owner and their operations team, we agreed that a completely new canvas was needed to match the boutique hotel concept, replacing the conventional with a fashionable vogue aesthetic while creating a charming home-from-home ambience. I redesigned all the rooms, public spaces and furniture throughout the hotel. Working alongside a graphic artist, we also commissioned new decorative wallpaper and soft furnishings, while I managed the interior design project. I have since been commissioned to review other hotel properties within the portfolio and to oversee further projects.
